Mood: Hungry

Things that make me go yum:
  • Trader Joe's chocolate-dipped peppermint Joe-Joe's
  • English Bay double chocolate cookie dough
  • Village Inn French Silk pie
  • Matthew McConnaughy's character's rippling abs in Reign of Fire...
Oh wait, this month's topic was 'things that make me go hmm'? Too late. I'm stuck on yum. We have days yet before our resolutions kick in, so I'm going to make the most of yum until then.
What was your 2008 pleasure? It needn't be food. More rippling abs are always welcome though.

I'll go for that Yum list, Jessa.

My greatest pleasure of 2008 came with a lot of stress as well, but there's no way something that big could have been stressless.

It will be a lifetime memory, probably the biggest and best trip we'll ever take. Thirteen days from Barcelona to Malta, Naples, Pompeii, Rome, Florence, Pisa, Livorno, Nice, St. Paul de Vence, and back to Barcelona.

And let us not talk about airports and air travel. Especially JFK.

All food and one abs. Hmmm. Hot abs pic at http://images.paraorkut.com/img/pics/images/h/hot_abs-2268.jpg

My 2008 greatest pleasure was our oldest coming home safe from Iraq for the second tour and knowing he will not be going back because he's getting out of the service. Yeah!

Happy New Year.

Hooray for him, Maggie! I'm so thankful I haven't had to deal with that, but I sure was worried for awhile.

Maggie, how did you find this South American ab-master? You must have a secret life you haven't told us about...

I think Delle should reveal pix of her Pompeiian cuties. The historical ones preserved in ash do count.

Sheesh, Jessa! How could I be late to comment on a post about chocolate and fabulous abs?

Well, since one of my 2009 resolutions is to find joy in all that I do, I won't have to miss either of those things in the new year. So thanks for a head start on yum!
