Current project: promotion for A VALENTINE'S ANTHOLOGY

Status: Almost here!

A blog is a terrible thing to waste...and it's my scheduled day to post, so I'm going to invite all of you who might be in the Salem, Oregon area on Valentine's Day to join me and fellow authors Christine Young and C. L. Kraemer for a Book Launch Party!

We'll be at the Willamette Humane Society at 4246 Turner Road SE in Salem to celebrate the release of A VALENTINE'S ANTHOLOGY in both electronic and print formats. This anthology contains a Civil War story from Christine Young, a faerie story from C.L. Kraemer, and my first published romantic comedy.

We're celebrating at the animal shelter because a "write-in" part for each of these stories--similar to a cameo appearance on TV--was auctioned off at a fundraiser for the shelter. There will be free refreshments, door prize drawings every 15 minutes, a grand prize drawing, and lots of wonderful pets looking for forever homes. Linda Hamer, who won the write-in parts, will be our special guest, and $1.00 from the sale of each print book will be donated to the shelter. I hope some of you can join us on February 14!
